Myth: It isn’t your bio. Expertise alone does not guarantee opportunities. The market rarely rewards ‘safe.’

The overlooked truth? Most decision-makers aren’t looking for the most credentialed; they're looking for the most memorable. That means, if you want to move from being “admired” (likes, follows, polite applause) to “in-demand” (calls, contracts, and checks with commas), you must activate your audience’s desire, not just their admiration.


Key #1: Unlock and Embrace Your Unfactor

Your unfactor is your unique, magnetic energy—the blend of stories, personality, and perspective that makes you a category of one. It’s not about being louder, it’s about being so authentically yourself that you are both unmistakable and unforgettable.

Reflect on this: What have you been muting because you fear it will repel people? Whether it’s your bold opinions, your sense of humor, or your distinctive way of presenting, your so-called “too much-ness” could be your golden ticket.

“Can you imagine the relief of being fully yourself?” When you show up unapologetically, you’ll attract the right opportunities and people and repel those who aren’t a fit (saving you wasted energy and time).

Action Step:
Identify the story or strong point of view you’ve been holding back. Are you willing and when will you commit to unleashing it into the world? The time is always now.


Key #2: Codify and Brand Your Intellectual Property (IP)

Being talented isn’t enough. To be booked and well-compensated, you must be known for something specific: a signature approach, framework, or methodology that only you offer. This is your signature Intellectual Property (IP).

Stop just being a “talented” person. Start being recognized for your “signature thinking.” Whether it’s a framework, process, or set of branded phrases, naming and packaging your IP makes you impossible to simply “swap out” for a cheaper or more available option.

Action Step:
Audit your expertise. What systems, processes, or unique ideas underlie your work? Give them a name, package them beautifully, and own your IP with pride.


Key #3: Be Magnetic Where It Matters

It’s a noisy digital world, and trying to be everywhere at once is a recipe for burnout. The secret? “Be magnetic where it matters.” This means identifying the rooms, platforms, and decision-makers relevant to your goals and showing up boldly there.

Visibility isn’t about volume. It’s about intentional strategy. Focus on the channels that are frequented by your ideal buyers and where real buying decisions occur. Be visible and vocal where it matters—not just everywhere for the sake of it.

Action Step:
Map out your target audience’s journey. Are they on LinkedIn or other social platforms? Association events? Corporate conferences? That’s where you need to be, consistently and authentically.
